The first mix of classical music and public speaking in Denmark.

A unique experience for your mind, body and heart.

Give your employees an outstanding afternoon with training in public speaking while the breaks are filled with live classical music by the concert pianist Irina Hayrapetyan of the Royal Theater in Denmark.

Why should you invest in this workshop?

Your employees will not only never forget this workshop, but they will leave the workshop enriched with new knowledge of classical music and how to speak confidently from the stage. Research shows that classical music can affect the brain in a variety of positive ways, from boosting memory to aiding relaxation. That’s why we believe that it’s so important to mix pleasure with training.

Plan for the 4-hour workshop

Introduction to The Speaking House (≈ 30 minutes). Here you will learn the fundamentals techniques of public speaking, hereby delivery techniques, body language, eye contact, voice control and more.

Irina plays a classical piece of composers like S: Rachmaninov, Fr. Chapin and L. Beethoven.

Stage fright & nervousness (≈ 30 minutes). Here you will learn how Irina (as a concert pianist) and Asbjørn (as a public speaker and coach) handle their nervousness and stage fright, while performing. You will learn how to be comfortable being yourself whilst presenting, as well as techniques you can use before and during a presentation.

Irina plays another classical piece of composers like S: Rachmaninov, Fr. Chapin and L. Beethoven.

The Anatomy of the Pitch (≈ 2 hours). In this final part of the coaching you will learn about speech structure and how to come up with a speech that will be remembered. This is followed up by a group exercise, where you will be divided into smaller groups, where you will practice a small speech about a made-up product for a made-up company that makes sci-fi products. This is done to get some practice with speaking from stage, while not focusing much on the content at this point. In our experience this creates a good atmosphere, as everyone starts to both relax and get more excited, as they have had a good experience with a presentation. Here you will get a chance to practice everything you have learned throughout the day.

Irina plays an improvisation.
